A Place For People, A Centre For All

Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre is a dynamic, community-based organisation operating for the benefit of people living in the Orbiston and Bellshill area of North Lanarkshire. Our vision is of a thriving, inclusive community where people live, work and play in harmony. Principal services are Childcare, Elderly Care, Community Cafe, Food Coop, Computer Learning, Befriending and Volunteering. In addition to this we also provide meeting space for other groups and activities.

July Update - Activities All Ages!

Summer timetable takes over this month. Crafty Crafts continue to meet Mondays. Men’s Group meet Mondays and Fridays. Digital Sessions run Monday, Wednesday, Thursdays. Theo’s Café is open to the public for breakfasts, lunch and snacks weekdays from 9.30am. Contact the Centre 01698 842215 to check details for other groups.

Holiday Kids Club kicks off Friday 28th June providing supervised play activities and day trips weekdays for young persons aged 4 to 14 years. Programme includes trips to Kelburn and Finlaystone parks, Ayr beach, Chatelherault, bowling and cinema trips. Kids Club offers full and half days sessions. History Of The ONC

The company was established in 1993 by a group of local people from two Church of Scotland congregations. The Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre was opened in 1995 to provide a base for services and initiatives seeking to address problems of social exclusion and deprivation in the Bellshill community.
