Choose any 10 items from our well-stocked shelves for just £3. Whether you're facing financial challenges or seeking budget-friendly options, the Community Fridge is open to all.
Join our Digital Inclusion Classes every Tuesday, designed for adult learners seeking to enhance their IT skills. Delivered in a friendly and informal setting, these classes provide basic IT skills and confidence-building for beginners. Our Digital Volunteers offer dedicated support. We cater to all learners, including older individuals seeking assistance with CVs and job applications.
The Wee Friendly Club
Our Wee Friendly Club is tailored to provide dedicated support for older individuals and their caregivers residing in Bellshill and its neighboring areas. Operating every Tuesday to Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm, this daily care service offers a secure and welcoming environment. It aims to empower older persons, fostering their independence while ensuring they have access to appropriate support when needed.
For a small fee, participants receive a comprehensive package covering lunch, snacks, transportation to and from our Centre, and engaging daily activities. Our program includes a variety of activities such as games, quizzes, singing, musical entertainment, carpet bowls, arts and crafts, social events, and day trips. These activities are thoughtfully designed to promote physical movement, stimulate the intellect, and encourage social interaction, contributing to the overall well-being of older individuals by maintaining good physical health and mental vitality.
